Dear Experts,
I was installing Peachtree Accounting System to three (3) new PCs in our Finance Department when I got this error at the second installation (see below). Â
We are still using Win XP for stability purposes.Â
I wondered why I couldn’t get thru to this second (2nd) PC when I got thru at the first.Â
Any idea on why this error occurred at the 2nd PC?
Hope you can help.

Got an error while installing Peachtree Accounting System
Hello! You encounter this error because you did not meet the system requirements of the software that you want to install, the problem is you are using an older version of windows which is not compatible for the software,
Always remember before installing a software you must know the system requirements, check the manual or the installation guide of the software that you want to install to your system.
To check the version of your windows Click on start, then click run, and then type winver, and then it will display the version of windows that you are using, then check it if it is compatible to the software that you are using.
Hope it helps.
Got an error while installing Peachtree Accounting System
Hi.
That problem occurs due to a missing service pack for Windows.
On this link you can see minimal system requirements for Peachetree. Before updating your software check what version of Windows you use. To find that information follow those few steps
1) From Start menu select Run
2) Type winver and press enter
3) Your installed version of Windows and it`s service pack is displayed.
To update your software please use this link to download newest Microsoft Windows service pack.
When you have updated Windows, reboot for changes to apply and rerun Peachetree setup.
