Hi,
I was playing the SIMS 2 Bon Voyage when I got this error message.Â
The SimsTM 2 Bon Voyage
Direct3D returned an error: D3DERR_NOT AVAILABLE! The application will now terminate.
Â
I tried restarting put then the game stalled and gave the same error message.  I looked for a solution in the internet and it seemed that a lot were experiencing the same problem but no solution has been given yet.Â
I chanced upon this forum and would like to try my luck if someone could help me resolve the problem.
Thanks for the help.

Got an error while playing the SIMS 2 Bon Voyage
Hello Merlim,
The error you just received when playing the SIMS 2 Bon Voyage game could be probably due to wrong display resolutions that do not work well with that game, and therefore you will need to try adjusting the display resolution settings of your computer's desktop.
You will just right click on the computer and then choose properties. In the window that will open you will choose display followed by display properties in the next window.
Click on change display settings and then adjust the resolution, and then save the changes. See if the game works well after that.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Â
Try this check first the video card if its working properly or fix from your motherboard and then check the application or maybe files from if there an corrupted data and then uninstall the software and then after that just simply reinstall again to your machine if it’s possible only. Try to scan the system if there infected files or maybe application just simply check on that from the system to avoid anything error again or to be safe only and then just simply look for the new version for the software of the video card if it’s possible and then try to install that one to your computer and then restart your computer again then download the advanced care from the net just try if its work to your system.
