We were still using an old version of Peachtree Accounting System 2009 in our office.Â
A fairly new user randomly got this error message when processing the payroll (see below).Â
Peachtree Accounting
The payroll formula **SIT contains the word ENTER that is not recognized by Peachtree. To see a list of possible solutions, click Help.
Actually, he just had his laptop installed with the system using Win XP.Â
He clicked the button Help, but couldn’t comprehend much.Â
Is there a way to resolve the issue?Â
Please help.
Got an error while processing payroll using Peachtree Accounting 2009
To solve that problem, you will need to get the tax update for Peachtree. Just follow the steps below:
-
First you will need to access and open Peachtree by Sage and your company file.
-
You will then need to select Check for Updates that will be listed in the services menu, and then click on the now button.
-
Next you should see the tax update service; you will just click on the download button.
-
Wait until the updates has completed and the press OK to close the Peachtree accounting system.
-
After you have closed the system, the update will be installed.
-
Wait until the updating process has completed and then open Peachtree and the company profile that you have again. You should be able to process the payroll entry transactions without problems.
