Graphics driver problem: cannot post inline text on forum editor

Good day! I have been encountering a problem with my forum text editor when I post an image, so I am currently unable to post inline text. According to an Adobe employee, I was having an issue with an nVidia Quadro graphics driver, but unfortunately, I do not know how to contact nVidia or HP support for this issue because I would have to provide the screen image so that they can tell me what's wrong with my graphics driver. I visited nVidia's page and it said that if the computer came with an nVidia graphics driver, then the computer manufacturer (HP) should be contacted instead.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended

Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements. Check the video card manufacturer’s website for the latest software.

GPU enhancements can be enabled in the Performance panel of Preferences.

OK   Don’t show again

I just installed the latest driver for my Quadro 4800 FX graphics card less than two months ago.I hope that you can help me solve this issue. Please and thank you.

Dear Kaitlynedwards

According to the error message u received toward Photoshop, this message indicates that your Photoshop has turned OpenGL off because of a GPU problem. This problem could appear after you experienced a crash on your machine. Try to update the video adapter display driver and then try to enable OpenGL Drawing in Photoshop preferences.

If the message appeared again, try to keep "Enable OpenGL Drawing" turned off until you can get a newer driver. In order to update your video display driver which enables Photoshop to talk to GPU on the video driver,

Follow this link for a detailed description of the update process:

Hope this may help you.

Best of luck

Hello Tibor, I have updated the video adapter and opened openGL. I also followed the update process. It seems to be working well now. Thank you so much!
