I am putting together a proposal for a client and need to clarify a few points.  Can someone explain the technical differences of Main Frames – Grid Computing – Cloud Computing? Which one is actually the best value and reliability for a growing company? And is paying to outsource these resources a good idea?

Hi Patricia C Lahr

Cloud computing is sharing of computing power vie by the use of internet it mobiles all units such smartphone, tablets, laptop, etc. instead of using multiple server. It utilizes all the unit that are available at its disposal vie internet.

Grid computing is a type of computing that uses a server for computing of multiple computers is one area. It uses local host and the idea of this is to provide one solution for every 1 computing problem to be solved but it uses a lot of computers. So that it will have fast computing power.

Mainframe computers (colloquially referred to as "big iron") are computers used primarily by corporate and governmental organizations for critical applications, bulk data processing such as census, industry and consumer statistics, enterprise resource planning and transaction processing.
