I have Nokia 2730 and I have good amount of applications saved in this phone. These files are too good, if not important, that I couldn’t take to delete it in my phone. Is there any alternative way or basic reformat for 2730 procedure that would allow me to reset my phone without deleting those precious files and applications of mine?
You can use restore to factory defaults option in settings but this will only change your phone’s settings to initial levels but may not get you rid of any malware or viruses in your phone. To properly format your Nokia 2730 you have to flash it using the original factory firmware.
For Soft Reset use *#7780# this will reset your phone settings without formatting any data.
For Hard Reset use *#7370# this will restore original operating system from ROM and formats the C partition.
Unfortunately, that’s not possible. When you format your phone, it will also delete all your files and applications. Formatting in mobile phone is done by factory resetting. To factory reset a Nokia 2730 Classic, open dialer then enter this code without quotes “*#7370#” and press the call button. After this, your phone should restart. And that’s it. Your Nokia 2730 Classic has now been formatted.
Before factory resetting your phone, back up all your files and applications to your memory card and the contacts on your phone to your SIM card then remove the memory card and the SIM card from your phone. It runs on removable BL-5C Li-Ion 1020 mAh battery with standby time up to 300 hours both on 2G and 3G. Talk time is up to 3 hours 20 minutes on 2G and 2 hours 45 minutes on 3G. It is available in black or dark magenta colors.
