Having a problem with my Gsm Modem

Hi, I have found a problem with my GSM Modem that is showing error 81 whenever I am trying to command it with a short message reference.

For the solution I used the troubleshot but it couldn’t give me any solution.

Can you help me to solve the problem regarding this issue?

Having a problem with my Gsm Modem

Error 81 on GSM modem means an invalid command was entered on the device. If you are trying to run some AT commands with your GSM modem, maybe the command you entered is not supported by your device or your network.

You may also try uninstalling your modem’s application from your computer then check your machine for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system.

For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like Norton Utilities, or PC Tools Performance Toolkit.

After checking your system, install your modem’s software again.

This will fix any corrupted files in the installation and will restore the settings back to default.
