I am having trouble using the Windows while I am installing the offline version of the Skype 5.9. There is an error that appears as shown in the picture underneath.

Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel.

Maybe there is an additional version of the product that was installed previously that prompter at abortion of the installation. Will I just employ the add/remove programs in the control panel to modify or eliminate the other version of the Skype? Please elaborate on this further?
Having troubles with the Skype 5.9 Offline Installer
Hi Robert. It seems that what you need to do is just to open your previously downloaded skype since you already have an existing similar file. But if you.want to be sure you have the latest download then you need to uninstall your previous skype. You can use add/remove programs or uninstall programs whichever is convenient.
Having troubles with the Skype 5.9 Offline Installer
Hi Robert,
It is already indicated in the error dialog box that you already have another version of Skype already installed into your computer. Check the version of Skype which is already installed on your computer if it has a newer build than 5.9. If it is an older version, you can proceed removing it from your computer and restart if it prompts after uninstalling it. And then you can install 5.9 version of Skype without that error anymore.
