HD videos cannot play well in my computer! It is super slow and the images lag behind the audio! Any ideas?
When I try to play HD videos for instance MP4 on my machine, the videos are super slow like in very slow motion .Do you think this has something to do with the hardware or my system is just not made to play these videos? Could it be a problem with the system software? I have already installed KLM codec pack and the specifications for my machine are as follows:
-
1 GB RAM DDr1
-
Intel Celeron processor 2.66GHz
Display adapter. NVidia Geforce2 MX/MX 400
HD video playing issue on system
Hi,
Your system software is okay but the problem is in your processor . A dual core processor can solve your problem.
Because HD Video needs better processing speed.
N:B: You can try VLC Player. It can solve your problem.
Thank you

HD video playing issue on system
Hey,
Â
It’s generally because your system doesn't meet the minimum system requirements required to play a high definition (HD) videos i.e. or due to tweaks or registry errors
Alternate Solutions:
·        Try defragmenting your C drive
·        Â
·        You can either increase Windows virtual memory or purchase a better Graphic card which supports (HD). For example Nvidia Geforce 5 (FX series)
·        Â
·        Try running the video in a higher compatible media player such as VLC player, Zoom player, KM player, etc.  Instead of running the file on Windows media player since it utilizes maximum CPU usage.
·        Â
·        In order to clean up your registry (fix registry errors), remove temp. Files and remnant corrupt files u require downloading a good registry cleaner. Software called the Ccleaner may come in handy.

HD video playing issue on system
Dear Ronald,
It is very common problem and having many reasons.
HD Videos require high capacity of RAM, VGA Card or Display Card, Latest Media Players etc..
You are also having the same problem so i am going to tell you the solution of this problem.
First of all check your PC for hardware wise.
Check that your Processor supports HD Videos? Means all HD Videos play perfectly on 2.0 GHz or above.
Then check your VGA Card r AGP Card it is also called Display Card. It should be 128 MB Capacity to run HD Videos smoothly.
After this Check your RAM, less RAM can't process more quickly as the HD Videos require.
After this the last thing that you have to check is this that have you installed latest and supported media player on you computer?
VLC Media Player is the best player to run HD Videos.
Also check your system for viruses, some viruses are also slow down the PC.
Â
I hope this will helpful for you.
