Headache problem with pc screen- solution

I recently started working full-time on pc and I am currently experience one of the worst side effects. Every day, I am faced with horrible eye pain and headaches. Having said this, I am looking into buying another laptop, as I think it is the source of the problem. Can anyone recommend to me a screen that is soft on the eyes? Is there any protection I can use in the meantime?

Headache problem with pc screen- solution

Before considering buying another laptop with a lower resolution, you should try reducing the screen resolution and brightness of your laptop. To reduce screen brightness, press the function key (fn) (next to the ctrl button) and reduce brightness button (usually f9). Press the two buttons simultaneously until you achieve the brightness you are comfortable with.
