Headers and Footers in MS Word

Hello, I was wondering how to have different headers and footers in one document in MS Word, I am doing a research paper and I want to have different header and footer each page, please help me with this.

Headers and Footers in MS Word

 

Hello Dillard the headers and footers can be easily changed for each page because as document usually have different page numbers followed from 1 and hence there is a easy way to perform changes to each page.

 

First open the document and then click on the Insert tab of the Ribbon which is present in top of the document then you click on Page Number in the group of Header and Footer.

 

Next is that selecting the top of the page and select the format you needed that which you want it to be specified a different format available in given formats.

 

For adding the text to the header, give the double click in the portion of header on the first page and then later enter the text and to get outside from the header just give the double click on outside portion of Header.

 

Now change to each and every page you needed to change by following the same procedure to all the pages present in the document.

Headers and Footers in MS Word

Creating the same header and footer on different pages or sections on Microsoft Word has another procedure versus creating them differently on the succeeding pages. To understand these steps further, I have searched all possible solutions online and found some websites that provide step-by-step procedures on how to create header and footer and have them customize as you would like them to be.
