Headphone does not work properly.

After installing windows the headphone does not provide the sound. However sound boxes work properly. What is the possible solution of this?

Hi there,

  I think I can help you with your problem  their are many reasons for such a problem first check the jack and your speakers or reinstall the audio driver and then restart your PC another solution might use is open control panel and choose sound, speech and audio devices then look in every option and try to see if the voice is mute and see the plug-in headset if it work probably

Hello Jowel,

You mean the headphones do not work properly or the internal speakers of the computer? Because if the sound box is working properly then the internal speakers are working properly and it seems you have already verified that as you have pointed it out in the question.

If the headphones that you are using are not working, then the problem could be with them and therefore I will suggest that you get others and test them and see if the sound works with them. In case they work then you will need to replace the headphones that are you currently using.
