Help! I changed my password a few days ago and now I cannot remember the new one no matter how hard I try! Need to do a reset. Can someone please tell me how to do the ultimate boot cd password reset?

Hi! So sorry to hear about your plight.

Please follow the following:

From your description, I assume you already have a CD with ultimate boot installed.

Insert it into your PC and wait for the UBC screen to show up. When it does, click on the Parted Magic option. Press enter. You will be taken to the graphics screen. Just click on the default settings. Parted magic will begin to load now. Now just reset your password normally from the system screen.
