Help me banning program from firewall in a manual way.

In my computer I am suffering from security problems. Several times my computer insist not work and go beyond my control. Specially some type of programs causing this. I want to know banning program from firewall manually. It seems my firewall is off or programs were allowed unfortunately. Now want to remove them. Please help me.

Hello Ericson Eric,

Since you don't mention which Firewall you are using, I am going to guess Windows 7 Built-in Microsoft's Firewall. To add an exception in Windows Firewall to block or allow a program is really easy and you can find a really good and easy guide to follow in the following link: How to Block a Software in Windows Firewall

Help me banning program from firewall in a manual way.

 To manually block programs using your Windows Firewall, simply follow the steps below:

1.    Start > Control Panel > System and Security

2.    Under System and Security, select Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall

3. Then it should be like this (see image below)

4.    To add, change or remove allowed programs, click first the Change settings button.

5.    You’ll now be able to control your allowed programs (Private or Public), remove programs from the list or add another program/s on the list of your allowed programs.
