Data recovery from a corrupted USB is possible through use of a recovery software. There are good free software available to scan the media however you may have to pay for the actual recovery. Follow the link and you can evaluate these below software for recovery. (You should also let us know the OS you are using)

If your USB flash drive has been corrupted and you can no longer access its contents, the first thing you should do to recover its contents is to fix the problem on the drive. There’s no way you can recover its contents if you don’t fix the problem on the drive. First, download PC Tools Performance Toolkit. Follow the instructions to download and unpack and then install it.
Once installed, start PC Tools then go to “Recovery” tab and click “Repair Drives.” If your USB flash drive is not yet inserted, it will not appear on the list. In this case, close PC Tools then insert the USB flash drive on the USB port. After this, start PC Tools again then repeat the same steps.
On the next screen, locate your USB flash drive from the list and select it. Under “Select Drive Operation,” select “Surface Scan” then click “Start” to start the scan.
After the test, check the contents of the USB flash drive and see which files are still intact. Copy the usable files to your hard drive and format the USB flash drive.
