I am very unlucky when after spending so much time in creating animated videos with my Anime Studio Pro, I suddenly received this error below that says something about failure to open files and there is a read error, image layer.cpp.

I was just so tired and exhausted that after all I have done, I got just such a failure. My project is not accessible.

Please suggest ways on how to retrieve everything. I don’t want to go back to the very beginning.

Anime Studio Pro

That looks like a temporary problem with the application, which may not have affected the files that you have created using it. I will suggest the following workaround for you:

  • Close the Anime Studio Pro application completely, end all processes that it is executing in the task manager and then close it. Restart the computer after that. Trying running the application again and opening the files you had created using it and see if it will work.
  • In case the above does not work, backup the files that you had created, and then reinstall the application. If there was any bug in the application it will be fixed after you reinstall it. Try opening the anime studio files after the reinstallation and see if they will open successfully.

Hello,

I think you are getting the error because of some misplace code or something. This is a temporary error, just go to the line and remove that wrong code or symbol used. Its a common error happening to many people. First you should backup your files for the safety measure. Then try out finding the wrong code.
