Help resolving dss file corrupt Mac OS error message

I use a DS-1000 Digital voice Recorder at work to transcribe interviews, I usually connect the recorder to my apple Power Book G4 to get all audio files played back with a dss player, I received recently a dss file corrupt mac error message when trying to play back one of the files, I checked the cable connectivity but it's OK, I wonder if the file is corrupted, what type of mac software can repair dss files?

Hi Anthony Wendy,

I have used the PC Inspector Smart Recovery software to recover files and the news is it is also capable of fixing corrupted files with .DSS format, you can give it a shot if you want for this software is capable of recovering files and has a greater algorithm of checking files and healing it.
