Help with Winzip Self-Extractor Update error

Hello,

Yesterday I tried to extract a file using Winzip however every time I attempt I get the error shown in the picture.

I tried re-installing Winzip but I get the same error.

Please help!

Cannot use command file.check_hotfix_for_vista.vbs Windows does not have a program associated to run with.

Help with Winzip Self-Extractor Update error

Hy,

May be you are using very old version of win zip software. So your update file path cannot match with the software function. You can resolve this problem by uncheck or unmark the “When done unzipping open : ./check_hotfix_for_vista.vbs” option from your WinZip software.

Your updated file start to extract automatically after complete download from the server then it cannot extract for the different name update file. So if you unmark the “When done unzipping open : ./check_hotfix_for_vista.vbs” this option then your updated file will automatically extracted and it will works with your WinZip software.
