It doesn’t relate to every release of Microsoft Windows Operating systems later than Windows XP.

If Service Pack 3 on a Microsoft Windows Xp is not installed, this error may come

HerdMASTER Suite Setup

An error occurred while installing system components for HerdMASTER Suite.

Setup cannot continue until all system components have successfully

installed.

HerdMaster Documentation : Setup & Installation error

 

This error occurs if windows xp is not loaded with service pack2.first verify whether it is sp3 or not.

If its sp3 and still the problem is there then follow the steps.

1. click on start menu then “orb” on lower left hand corner.

2. Now click my computer and right click on herdmaster4 and open it.

After that

Double click on the folder WindowsInstaller4_5, then double click on WindowsXP-KB942288-v3-x86.exe and follow the prompts.. Be sure to Double click on the folder DotNetFX35SP1, then double click on dotNetFx35setup.exe and follow the prompts.

Again Double click on the folder SqlExpress2008SP1, then double click on SQLEXPR32_x86_ENU.EXE if you are using a 32 bit Installation of Windows or SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.EXE if you are using a 64 bit Installation of Windows and follow the prompts.

After this Double click on HerdMASTER_installer.msi and follow the prompts.

Now it’s done.restart the computer.
