Hello everyone, I was running windows 7, and then during my Windows update, I encountered Windows Update error 80073712. Does anyone know what it means, and how should I fix this error?

This, windows update error 80073712 means that there are files that are being corrupted or missing during the update process. You will need to download the Windows Update Troubleshooter and then select Open or Save in the pop-up window. If the pop-up dialog box doesn’t show up, you might have a pop-up blocker on then you need to turn that off. To turn it off, check the browser’s website or pop-up blocker’s manufacturer.

If you select the Save option, then you need to go to the folder where the troubleshooter has been downloaded to and after the download is complete, then double-click the Windows update diagram file to run the troubleshooter. Now inside the setup then click on the Next button and proceed with the steps in the Wizard to find and fix problems with Windows Update.
