If so , can any one say the connectivity speed of the Alcatel x220 with Linux. At present , I am getting 85.6 kbps DL, 42.8 kbps UL off connectivity speed.  And also say the latest version of Alcatel x220 memory support .
Hi, Do alcatel x220 supports linux
Hi there,
Alcatel x220 supports linux. It works well on UBUNTU 12. The connectivity speed has nothing to do with your operating system it depends on the plan you choose. In fact, it is better on a linux because there is no QoS limitations. Your upload and download speed will remain the same or it could be a little better on linux (very slight difference).
I totally appreciate that you want to go for linux. I would recommend Ubuntu 12.
Hope this helped.
Regards,
