Hiding files from Samsung Galaxy S2

Is it possible to hide files on Samsung Galaxy S2 like pictures and videos? If yes, what are the steps in selecting that option? And aside from file where can we use the hide option?

Hiding files from Samsung Galaxy S2

Hi Mar!

I believe there are two ways to hide these files.

1. Create a folder in your "My File" folder with a file name starting with a dot ("."). Ex. if you want to hide a folder for our videos, make a folder with a name like ".video". This folder will then be treated as a hidden folder. For you to access these folders, you have to go to My Files>More>Settings and tick the box corresponding to the "Show hidden folder".
2. This one will be after you can access the folders. Choose from one of the existing hidden folders and move those files you want to hide. Then untick the "Show the hidden folder" box.

Hiding files from Samsung Galaxy S2

There is an application called ''Vault''. With this application you can control over your privacy. All your photos and videos can be encrypted into a private place with password. The messages and contacts that you want to hide will be disappeared. If you have the premium version then you will be able to use some extraordinary features like the photo of anyone that tries to unlock your codes.
