Hello,

There are following ways in which you can monitor the traffic of your website:

1. You can login to the web hosting panel of your website and view statistics there,

or

2. If your website is ranked within 100,000 on Alexa, you can watch your websites statistics there,

or

3. Google Analytics also provides detailed information about the number of clicks on your websites and daily statistics, for that you need to have a code embedded in your web pages after registering your site for Google analytics. (This option is most reliable as every time the webpage on your website is loaded, the information about viewer's IP address, country and the time he remained on your site is logged in Google Analytics account.)

or

4. who.is also provides some information regarding domain and statistics, but that is not much reliable.

I hope these solutions will help.

If you want to have a little background on the kind of traffic going in and out of your website, you can always try Google Analytics. It is a freemium web analytics service offered by Google that can report and track website traffic. The service was launched in November 2005 after Google acquired Urchin.

Since then, Google Analytics has become the most widely used web analytics service on the web. Aside from the standard free web analytics service it offers, it is also available in two additional versions:

  • * Google Analytics 360 – this is the subscription-based version of Google Analytics which is previously known as Google Analytics Premium that targets enterprise users.
  • * Google Analytics for Mobile Apps – this is the SDK version that lets you collect usage data from Android and iOS apps.

Aside from providing web analytics service, Google Analytics also offers AdWords.
