Hello all,
I have a problem with Windows Defender. How do I activate it, because windows defender does not want an active, after notice sent activate. Then I switch the appropriate instruction and remain active as well. Then I downloaded from the Microsoft site, after the download remains inactive as well. someone please help me.
How to ACTIVATE WINDOWS DEFENDER
Hi fritsche,
There using windows defender for security of our system for stopping automated installation of unwanted software’s and spywares on our system and also alerts us up to dates the system and performs regularly scanning checks for prevention of any harm.
To activate it you have to open it from the start menu and then click on All Programs, then scroll down to WindowsDefender. After that go into the Tools, and click on Options.
In options menu go into the Administrator options, and then selecting Use WindowsDefender check box, after this save it. Also if the administrator requires password or verification then do provide it.
How to ACTIVATE WINDOWS DEFENDER
It is very simple to resolve this problem. Just follow the instruction to fix it.
• Go to Control Panel and click on ‘switch to Classic View’.
• Here you can find the Windows Defender icon.
• Right click on Defender icon, click OPEN.
• Click Tools shown on the top.
• Select the Options, now just checkmark necessary boxes.

First you left click the start, then go to control panel, and in the upper right screen switch to small icons to view all programs and then click windows defender.

How to ACTIVATE WINDOWS DEFENDER
To resolve this problem, simply follow the instructions.
Open your system as Administrator, Click on start and select Run, Type CMD to open your command prompt window. A black careen with blue header will appear, type the following commands in that window:
winmgmt /verifyrepository
After giving this command if the system returns a message ""WMI repository is not consistent"", then you have to give the following command in CMD:
winmgmt /salvagerepository
That command will complete a consistency check on the “WMI repository” and remove the problem. Then Try to enable the Windows Defender program after Rebooting the system. If you are not logged as administrator then Click Start, and type CMD in the search. From the results, right-click on Command Prompt and select “Run as Administrator”.
And then give the above commands.
