How to add animated gifs to bada?

I love my new Samsung Wave phone running in Bada OS with a resolution of 480×800. I saw these gif images online and I tried adding it to my phone. The problem is that, the gif files are not displaying properly. It appears as small blank box with a mark X on the upper right portion of the box.

I tried checking the format and I am one hundred percent sure that the extension name is gif and the image is working when viewed in PC. Is there any standard gif images that can be accommodated by bada? How to add animated GIFs to bada?

Hi Jody,

I looked into this matter some time ago, back then it wasn't possible I checked again just now to clarify and, I am sorry to say that up till now Samsung (The developers of Bada), have not yet implemented the support for animated GIF.
