How to add files to white list in Avast?

I'm currently using Avast Internet Security and it is working file. I was unable to figure out what actually the white list is. After a short research, I came to know that it is alike sandbox. Where is the white listsandbox option in Avast? How can I add and remove files from sandbox?

How to add files to white list in Avast?

Hi Edith,

 

The Exclusion lists need to be used. For the Standard Shield Provider, left click the "a" blue icon and go to the Customize option by clicking on the provider icon available on the left. Then, go to Advanced tab where you can add the required files by clicking on the Add button.

 

For other providers such as the screen savers or the basic user interface, Click on Program Settings after clicking the "a" blue icon. Go to Exclusions tab and then Add. Wild cards can be used, but make sure that those files which puts your system at risk are excluded.
