Hi,
I used to play with an “old time” string band about 40 years ago and then recently, I found a reel to reel tape.
I converted the tape to a CD audio which I downloaded from iTunes.
When playing the tracks, the song title only shows “Track 1”, “Track 2”, and so on.
Honestly, I do not know how to add song titles.
I tried using “Grace Notes” but it did not offer much help.
Another thing is that, I put another converted copy to iTunes but I could not find it anywhere.
Could someone please assist me in finding out what happened?

Regarding your question as how to add a title on the track list simply you can fix it with the use of EDIT COMMAND in the list of your track for example you want to change track 1 into a specific file just right click and then click edit and type the information that you want to edit and then press enter and then click the arrow below, and this is the LIBRARY TAB, click Apply MEDIA INFORMATION CHANGES.
Take note: their are some cases that only the information can be change not the length, size and bit rate.
And you can check also this information in this site credited in windows.microsoft.com here is the link
I hope it will answer and solve your problem.
How to add song titles on a track list
Hi Amanda Steel,
The reason why you can't add song titles on a track list is because you have to configure first the setting in a program that notifies you need it to check online the CD and the names of the tracts.
So probably you overlooked to check or selected it.
Illustrations below are the songs without the title
To configure the settings, go to iTunes > Preferences > select Advance
After to General, Click Importing and you will see the selection you need to tweak hide in between the complex window.
The illustration below shows that CD tract names from the internet automatically convey.
You have to choose that, the disk must be injected and reinsert it again.
Hope this might help you.
Thanks.
