How to avoid my Skype alt tabs games? While playing Yuri and red alert game there is an icon that will pop up in front of my computer screen which is the Skype tab and exits my game graphical interface. How can I get rid of this problem? I think it came out every 10 minutes and it annoys me too much. Please do help me.
If it keeps popping up every ten minutes, it can be annoying when you are playing a game. The best way to fix it is to remove it from the Windows startup. When you install Skype, it starts automatically with Windows by default that’s why you see it pop up every ten minutes even if you didn’t start Skype because it is running in the background.
There are many ways to remove Skype from the Windows startup. First, you can disable it right within Skype itself. Start Skype then log in to your account. Go to “Tools,” “Options,” “General Settings,” and then uncheck “Start Skype when I start Windows.” After this, close Skype and restart the computer. See if this works. Another way is using CCleaner.
Download the free version of CCleaner and install it. Once installed, start CCleaner then go to “Tools” on the left pane and select “Startup” on the right. Scroll down and select Skype then click “Disable.”
