How to backup and restore PDFs using iTunes

I had Adobe Reader installed on my iPhone 4. When I uninstalled it, my PDF docs that I stored on the device were also removed. I have an iPhone 5 now, and I will be installing Adobe Reader on it as well. My question is, how do I backup and restore my PDF docs using iTunes? Is this possible?

How to backup and restore PDFs using iTunes

Hello,

You can use iBooks to open your PDF files, no need to bother downloading Adobe reader. To open PDF file in iBooks, you drag and drop your PDF to your iTunes library. So you can sync and backup your data using iTunes and can restore whenever it is required. Also it comes with many more features which allows you to use and manage your PDF's very easily.
