How can anyone relate LAPACK to research publications?

Any idea about how can I refer ‘LAPACK’ with a scientific publication? What are the changes made by them in the latest release? When can expect the next release of ‘LAPACK’? I also need to know more details about ‘LAPACK’. I Also need user’s guide for ‘LAPACK’.

How can anyone relate LAPACK to research publications?

• Download the latest version lapack-3.4.0.tgz
• Download the release notes for the new version. It will also have the user guide for all users that want to know the basics on how to use it LAPACK 3.4.0 Release Notes
• Have a look at the know bugs that can be present in the LAPACK Errata

LAPACK is a freely available software package to anyone who needs it. It is available from netlib via anonymous ftp. It can be included in commercial packages but the creators of this needs some credit to be given. Modified BSD license is used for this. Which means that if you do any changes in it. then you should rename it to something else of your own rather than using the LAPACK name on it.
