I have a 16 GB Samsung Galaxy SII I9000 with Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU and upgraded Android OS 4.1 Jelly Bean. Is there a way for Galaxy S2 disable Touchwiz interface? I can't find anything in the options menu to disable this feature.
Please help.
Thank you.
How can Galaxy s2 disable touchwiz?
Hi Matthew,Â
I believe I will be able to help you in solving this question. It is actually very possible to disable the Touchwiz interface for the galaxy s2 through the following steps;
Connect your phone to the PC and install and alternative launcher such as Launcher Pro. You will get it from the website;
Read the flash counter.
Another option is that you will need to connect your phone to the computer and ensure you have the softwares needed to start the rooting process. The software required is a DooMLoRD easy rooting toolkit (ZergRush exploit).
There is another software which also may come in handy known as SuperOne Click Roo.
Install a customized kernel containing ClockWorkMod Recovery. Use the Android Terminal Emulator for this task.
Flash the custom ROM package and install a new by using ClockworkMod Recovery and a CWM flashable zip package.
I hope this solves your query.
Thanks.
