I am working online with clients from another country. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 and would like to know if it’s possible to add additional clocks on my system tray, wherein I can add the current time of my clients abroad. And also is there a sort of alarm clock, that I can install on my computer?
Also let me know if there are any third-party software needed. Please give me your suggestions.
Thanks.
How can I add additional clocks on my system tray?
First of all, Windows Vista and Windows 7 has a feature that adds enhancement to your system clock and will let you display two additional clocks in your system tray, in which you can easily see when you hover your mouse to the system clock. To do this, follow the steps below:
1. Right-click on your system clock and select Adjust Date / Time.
2. The Date and Time dialog box will appear, click on the Additional Clocks tab.
3. The check box and options on this tab is grayed out, so you have to check the box to show the clock and then select your preferred time zone. For example, your client is in Canada, select the Easter Time so it will appear in your system clock when you hover your mouse to it.Â
4. Enter a name for your clock.
5. If you want to add another clock just check the second box below and select another time zone and enter another name for your next clock.
6. Click Apply then OK.
There is also third party software that you can install. Just search in your browser for free software. There is also premium in which you have to buy it, to enjoy its full features.
And with regards with alarm clock you can download one here. Alarm Clock.
Just select the correct operating system, that you currently using and then download and install. Follow the on screen installation instruction.
