Hi expert,

I have a website based on wordpress.  Now I need a perfect theme for it but I don’t know well about it. How can I choose wordpress theme for website? One thing should not be unmentioned: I am a beginner. So, I need a theme for the beginner.

Choosing a right WordPress template is a matter of taste.

I'll provide you with some websites where you can download WordPress templates for free and try them out.

You'll probably going to find some you like.

How can I choose WordPress theme for website for the beginner?

 

Hi there Michael D Dent,

 

Most of the CMS templates, including those for the WordPress work out of the box so the fact you are the beginner doesn't make any difference.

 

When choosing a template the most important theme is to know what message you'd like to send to the visitors of your website and what is the purpose of the website. For example, if you are starting an image gallery, you don't want a template crowded with graphic elements as you will have plenty of those when you place images on the page. Or if you are creating a serious business website, you will want to make it clean and professional. 

 

There are plenty of themes all over the internet, both, free and paid. You already got few advices, I will mention a few more places to check:
