Fatal Error: Installation corrupted is displayed while trying to reinstall the Essential 7 application using the Rev. 7.15W disc on my Windows XP computer. Even though I can open the clips the DVD quality is poor. I never had the problem before. I have tried using NERO Clean software, disabled the security software, and also reinstalled the software. Nothing really worked.
So I attempted to install it using the Nero 6.65W disc but got a message that ADVCNTR2.DLL need to be installed. I could locate the ADVRCNTR.DLL file in the folder. How can I create the ADVRCNTR2.DLL file from it? Is it possible? If not, what can be done?
Please help.

How can I create the ADVRCNTR2.DLL file from it?
The ADVRCNTR2.DLL is normally found in “E:Program FilesCommon FilesAheadLib folder” The path directory can change here depending on your drive label (For instance mine is E: yours can be C:).If the file is not there, it means the file has been moved or deleted or corrupt. Try searching by going to start>Search, under “containing text” type ADVRCNTR2.DLL and click search to look for it…If the results displayed that the file is in system thirty two the chances are that file is not Nero file.
If the file is not found, uninstall the package again download this utility from here http://www.nero.com/enu/support/?vlang=us and clean the system by uninstalling remnants. Restart your PC and install again the software. Make sure that the file is reinstalled only by reinstalling don’t download it.
