Have my new Windows 8 and want to delete all unwanted files and Windows old files
How can i delete the old Windows installation files in Windows 8

Do the following steps to remove old windows installation files and unwanted files from your system –Â
1. Open Control Panel in your Windows 8.Â
2. There will be a search box in the Control Panel, type "admin" there.
3. Administrative Tools Box will be opened.Â
4. You will see a Disk Cleanup section. Double click it.
5. Now click Clean Up System Files.
6. Â You have to select Previous Windows Installation now. You can check any other box, which you wish to delete to.
7. A confirmation will appear for deletion, click Ok.Â
The previous old unwanted files and windows installation files will be deleted after this. Here is a screenshot of the Disk Cleanup Box to know where the options will be present.Â

1. You should select Start button or you can simply press the Windows icon button allocated at keyboard.
2. The Search field will appeared and you should see it. Type Disk Clean into this field.
3. When you reach Setting part, do your job by deleting unnecessary files.
4. Then, enter C drive and click OK.
5. New windows pop out simustaneously. There is an option. Click clean up system files.
6. Press Windows.old. Then, click OK button.
7. You should confirm to delete those desired files that want to be deleted by clicking OK button.

How can i delete the old Windows installation files in Windows 8
When you install windows 8 in case you are installing it in C or F dive that you done the same in last installation.
Select C or F drive and click on format as shown in the image. Format that drive and then select C drive for installation.
It will erase your old Windows installation files in Windows 8.Â
