Hello everybody,
I've just bought a new PC and installed Windows 7, but can't seem to figure out how to change the default theme? I already had Windows 7 on my previous PC and everything seemed fine. I guess the new one is configured to disable this option? Does anybody know how to fix it?
How can I enable changing themes in Windows 7?
Hi Kate-p,
I believe I will help you in solving of your query since I have ideas on the same. On Windows 7 if you have just installed, it can be quite a problem to be able to change the themes and install custom themes without modifying the system files, this is what you may need to do to solve this query;
Go to Start->Control panel as administrator of the system and disable the user accounts control.
Go to the website uxstyle.com and download the software uxstyle to install it to your computer on the desktop.
Go to the software installer and extract the files required to run.
Follow the installation instructions displayed once you are able to start the installation.
Once the software has installed, you can reboot the computer and enable the software after the process.
You should be able to install the themes now with the software.
I hope this solves your query.
Thanks.

Hello,
Another choice on how to change theme is by installing a starter background application, you can download it for free,
just search it on Google.
