The 0xc00d4e85 error occurs after a particular Windows update. Just remove the update
a. Open Settings.
b. Open Update & Security
c. Open the Update history.
d. Click on Uninstall Updates.
e. Uninstall the KB2962407 update.
f. Restart your device.
g. Your error should disappear.

a. Right-click on the sound/ speaker symbol on your taskbar.
b. Open playback devices.
c. Right-click on your device.
d. Go to properties.
e. Open the Advanced tab.
f. Untick the option shown in the image.
g. Click on Ok.
h. Restart your device.
i. Your problem should disappear.
