 I am planning to sell my computer as I want to buy a new laptop. Formatting will help me to delete my information, and it won't go to anyone else. How can I format my computer?

How Can I Format My Computer By Various Methods?

Method 1-

For Windows.

Step 1: Select Boot menu after opening the BIOS menu.

Step 2: Press any key to boot.

Step 3: Select the options of your choice and click Next.

Step 4: Install it and accept the terms.

Step 5: Choose Custom install and delete the partition.

Step 6: Click Next after selecting the Unallocated Space.

Step 7: After installation, enter username, password, and the product key.

Step 8: Select date and time after choosing Windows Update option. Step 9: Click your network preferences to explore your desktop.

Method 2-

Mac OS X.

Step 1: After rebooting your system, press Command + R keys.

Step 2: After an opening of the Recovery menu, select Disk Utility and click Continue.

Step 3: From the left frame in the Disk Utility, select the hard drive and then Erase tab.

Step 4: Select Mac OS Extended from the menu and click Erase.

Step 5: Install Mac OS X.
