I have an xls file and I am using mac pc. But I do not know how to open the xls sur mac. Please help me with the problem. How can i format xls sur mac? Is there any freeware software I can use sur mac?

How can I format xls sur Mac?

You can download and install open office application.  In your Mac .This application opens Microsoft word, excel or PowerPoint though it changes the formats sometimes.

• Once you have installed follow the following simple steps;
• Go to the document you want to open
• Right click on the document
• The context menu will pop up
• Click on the open with and select open office
• The file will open as an ods file.

If the xls file is numbers you will need to follow this simple steps to open your file;

•           Download and install “iwork" 

•           Select Numbers and the chooser windows pops up.
