How can I get modem line playback download again?

I had lost the sound in modem line playback. After re-downloading, I didn't get the real sound. The sound was very low. How can I get modem line playback download again to get exact sound? Please help me.

Hello,

Go to Start->Control Panel->System->Device Manager and find out is your audio driver installed good. If there is yellow flags you need to install your audio driver.

Also your problem may be some corrupted file in your windows. To fix that go to Start->Run and type sfc /scannow. Insert your XP cd. When that is finished reboot the system. Press Del key to open BIOS setup screen and see is your sound card activated, if not you should activate it. Exit and Save. After rebooting use your drivers CD and install audio driver.
