I recently installed lubuntu on my PC so that I can use it for general computing tasks but now I am getting a lot of problems with IBUS application. this app keeps on breaking the input stream for applications such as Chromium yet it is supposed to allow me change the stream. Now I need to remove it from autostart since it stops users from doing anything. Help me uninstall it since every time I try it needs me to uninstall the Ubuntu-desktop too.

How can I get rid of IBUS?
Step 1: To remove the IBUS application from the start up first search for startup application. After clicking the startup application if you see the IBUS application then remove it from there and restart your computer. It will solve the issue.
Step 2: If you did not see the IBUS application in startup application, then press Ctrl+Alt+T to open the terminal. Type the below command:
cd /etc/xdg/autostart/
sudo sed –in-place 's/NoDisplay=true/NoDisplay=false/g' *.desktop

After executing these two commands go back to the step 1. This time you will surly find the IBUS application in the startup application list. Remove this application and restart your computer.
