How can I go about streaming personal webcams?

Hallo people!

I bought a webcam for my work and I am expected to have a connection with my boss' office so that he can monitor everything that I do in the office. Is there an application that can be used for streaming personal webcams? This should also have a recording option so that whenever he is not in the office everything can be recorded for him to watch later. Thanks a bunch.

How can I go about streaming personal webcams?

Hi,

It is relatively easy to achieve your objective through the following means:

iCam- an application that lets you view ongoing video streams to your web browser or phone(including iPhone and android gadgets). Whenever it senses/detects a motion it sends a direct notification to your phone immediately. Additionally, it takes quick snapshots for you to view later. It is cheap. Unfortunately, it can’t store streamed videos.

WebcamXP- this ranks as the most user-friendly application I have tested. It is quite easy to set up. It also lets you schedule your recording sessions- when and where, and also lets you specify how often you require the videos uploaded. It is however more expensive.
