How can I modify Microsoft crm 2011 quote template in Windows xp 64 bit without corrupting the original mail merge template which is a .doc file?

How can I modify Microsoft crm 2011 quote template?

Hi there,

 

Start the software, locate the ‘Print Quote for Customer’ button in the toolbar and click on it.

 

 

Webpage dialog will appear. 

 

Select the type of the template document you want and click lookup icon.

 

Find and select the template named Quote for Customer, go to properties, click Edit Template in Word and then Open.

 

The template will open in the MS Word. Depending on the version you are using, it may ask you to enable some options, so just click yes to enable whatever it wants.

 

After the template is open, click on the Add-Ins or  Mailings (depending on the Office version) menu item and click CRM. 

 

In the following pop up window click OK.

 

Your template is now ready for editing and you can do whatever you like with it. Once you're done with editing, choose Save As option to save the template. While saving the document, make sure you are using the right extension – XML.
