I have seen many ads on Facebook on some websites. How to configure which one is true ad and which one is a spam.

How can i prevent spam about Facebook.

Hi,

Spam on Facebook is a great problem. This is known as phishing. Many websites contain spam like this. If you click on those ads, you may lose the privacy of your account. While browsing on other websites, always keep in mind that:

1. Usually real Facebook links start with https://www.facebook.com/. There is no extra word. If you find any other words on the given link, then do not click on that.

2. Sometimes it starts like https://www.facebook.com/. This is also a trusted link.

Do not give your passwords in any other links without them.

Spam on Facebook is a big problem. Many times if you click ads you may lose your privacy, take care of these important tips,

First https://www.facebook.com/ and https://www.facebook.com/ is the true link. If you find any other words with true link don't click on that, it is spam, don't use your password in any website linked.

How can i prevent spam about Facebook.

These days, there are many phishing websites that look similar to the Facebook pages. Phishing is becoming very common on the internet. There are ads that you can see that when you clicked will attempt to get the user login information.

And then access their victim's account and then send messages to their list of friends or make money by exploiting this information. Facebook already blocked fake links that are being shared and removed those links. 

Be aware of those short links that comes with text when someone post it on your wall. Research first on the ads that you will see before clicking on it.

If you find that it is safe to use, then you can click it. Use an updated browser that has anti-phishing blacklist like IE 8 and Firefox 3.0.10.

Always create a unique login details.
