Hello friends,

How can I remove Baidu search from iPad? I want to completely remove or uninstall Baidu search from my iPad for some reasons. I want for a change and planning to install another type of search engine. Please do suggest based on your experiences.

Hi Kathryn,

Just follow these simple steps:

1) Go to settings.

2) Tap safari.

3) On the general menu you will see search engine, tap it.

4) A menu will appear, choose what search engine you want as default.

Following this simple step will make the Baidu search engine disappear and will be replaced by the one you set as default in the settings.

Kathryn,

In order to completely remove Baidu from your iPad you just need to perform a few easy tasks. First, you need to double-click on "Finder", which should be located on your desktop. Next, double-click on "Applications". Once you have opened up "Applications" you will need to locate "Toolbars".

You can open up "Toolbars by double-clicking on it and you should see Baidu, select this toolbar. Once you have selected Baidu double-click on "Uninstall". It will prompt you for your user name and password, enter these and click on "Ok". The uninstall will begin, once this is done close the window and when you reopen Safari the Baidu toolbar will be gone.
