How can i reset my Youtube recommendations

I get so irrelevant recommendations next to the videos i watch, What are the steps to reset all to defaults so i get better recommendations.

How can i reset my Youtube recommendations

Hi,

In order to reset or remove irrelevant recommendations; you should first clear your search or watch history. To remove your search history:

Go to the upper bar and click your account name.

Click ‘Video Manager’

On the side, click ‘Search History’

Make sure to click both ‘Clear all history’ and ‘Pause search history’.

 

By this, YouTube will stop logging the search terms that you frequently search and view.  You could also remove recommendations entirely by using browser extensions (for Chrome, Opera and Safari) like YouTube Options.

How can i reset my Youtube recommendations

Hi!

This is truly simple problem and needs only simple solution.

Steps given are:

1. Go to Youtube site

2. Then, login into your Youtube account, if you have one

3. After that, click this site in Youtube or simply click History button on left side panel.

4. In the middle of site, there is a button written Clear All Watch History.

5. There, you just need to select that button to reset your Youtube recommendations.
