Hi there,
I have a big problem, I installed the Operating System on my computer. It is a Windows XP service pack 2. I already updated it in the internet and even installed an Antivirus. Now, I want to install my MS office 2007 application but suddenly it doesn't read my installer.
Please help me. Badly needed for my project.
Thanks in advance.
How can I resolve system failure to read ROM Drive
If it does not read your installer, then there is a problem with your installer CD. Since there is no problem with your CD-ROM drive because you have just finished installing Windows XP Service Pack 2 with it, it is the CD that has the problem. Try inserting the CD in another computer to see if it works there. Check the data side of the optical disc if it has any scratches.
Always handle your CD properly because its data side is very sensitive to scratches. If it does not read your installer, then just download Microsoft Office 2007 from the Internet. Here is a site, where you can download a trial version of Microsoft Office 2007.
If you have a license key, in your original installer CD, just apply it in the downloaded installer of Office 2007.

How can I resolve system failure to read ROM Drive
Hello,
Maybe your installer of MS office 2007 version is not well-matched to your Operating System. So, check the system type if it is 32 bit or 64 bit and then try to check the installer of the MS office 2007 if it is 32 bit or 64 bit. If the system type is 32 bit of your OS and the MS office 2007 is 64 bit, download other software to your MS office 2007 version.
May be the installer of the Microsoft office 2007 is corrupted or damaged, just check the installer and then try to check the CD-ROM if it is read properly.
