How can I salvage some lost data and pictures

Hi,

I am trying to salvage some lost data, how do I go about it? I realized I had misplaced some pictures while carrying out a system recovery on my computer. I had only backed up a few of them. My computer is of HP type and the pictures lost were for about six months.

Activate the “Search tool” and Search the misplaced files carefully.

You can use image format extensions for the key words, like “.jpg” “.gif” “.png” to find pictures

After search is finished, check carefully your misplaced pictures found or not, if you found them “right click” on a picture and choose “open containing Folder” now select your pictures and copy them to elsewhere.

If it is not, try “Advanced search” and include “Hidden and System Folders” and search again using the upper mentioned procedure.

If it is still not, try a software like “Free Un-delete” to get the permanently deleted data.
