How can i stop Google Chrome from updating latest versions

Hi Experts,

How can i stop Google Chrome from updating latest versions. I have a need for my website to be shown we a specific Google Chrome version and do not want it to upgrade automatically.

Where can i change the settings?

How can i stop Google Chrome from updating latest versions

Hello 

In order to stop this update you have to do this steps as shown :

1- type in (about:plugins) on your chrome address bar and press enter .

2- uncheck the (google update )button and press disable .

3- finally restart your browser .

I hope this information will help you to fix this problem .

How can i stop Google Chrome from updating latest versions

Hi Frenanana, to stop updating the Google chrome there are 3 ways to stop it. 

The first way is by going to chrome://plugins> Find and uncheck Google update disable it > Restart the browser.

The second way is download "Google Update adm" by clicking  > Click start and search for "gpedit" > Navigate to "User Configuration – Administrative Templates" > Right click "Administrative Templates" and select "Add/Remove" > In the popup box click add button and navigate to where you downloaded the "GoogleUpdate.adm" > You should find a new entry under Local Computer Policy – Computer Configuration – Administrative Templates – Classic Administrative Templates called "Google".

The third way is click start and search for "gpedit" > And navigate to "Administrative Templates – Google – Google Update -Application – Google Chrome" > Right click on "Update policy override" click edit > Click disable button and click ok.

Now if you've done this steps you now have stop updating Google.
