How can I tell Outlook to backup my data?

Is it necessary to back up my Outlook mail? How do I back up my data using a .pst file? Will the outlook automatically backup my mailbox contents at regular intervals? Where can I tell Outlook to do this? Will the backup store data in all my folders?How do backup data in my other folders?

How can I tell Outlook to backup my data?

Hi it is necessary to take a backup of your data because it is saved on your computer not on the email server. So if anytime your computer or hard drive got corrupted then it may be lost. So to save your data, take a backup. All the data is stored in Personal Folder File (.pst) form, you can retrieve your data by just import this file in your outlook account.
